25" KAWAILEHUA - Hilo style blue/gold peacock and golden pheasant humu papa (feather hatband)

This is a Na Hulu Arts Signature piece with the peacock "medallion" to left side. This lei uses large amounts of premium feathers to include both blue and gold hand plucked peacock and red and yellow golden pheasant body feathers. A very bold statement!

• the red and yellow golden pheasant feathers represent the Lehua blossom  the gold penny border represents the dew forming on the blossoms that fall to the ocean - the outer blue border. This is the story of Kawailehua- a story of rebirth and this artisans Hawaiian name
