Purple and Navy Blue Lei Hulu (feather lei) Ekolu (2nd cut)

This beautiful lei hulu (feather lei) is made with the 2nd cut of dyed goose coquille feathers and wili (wrapped) 1 feather at a time to a base of yarn. Each row has 10 feathers and each row is 1/8" apart to make a 24" completed lei. This can be worn around the neck or a hat as a humu papale (feather hat band).
