Land and Sea Humu Papale (feather hat band)

Blue and green 3rd cut goose nagoire feathers make this very unique humu papale (feather hat band). Each feather was sewn on felt in an alternating pattern creating this very full 25" x 2-1/2" hat band As with all lei hulu, hundreds of feathers are cut and sorted. With humu papale each feather is then stitched with 5 stitches each by hand. This takes hours of work from start to finish but is well worth the completed product.
